It doesn't sound like he is really trying to change if he is still involved in the same life style. This is the way your life will always be if you do decide to stay with him, always something new everyday and not always something good everyday. In the end it is what you feel in head is right for you. If you think with your head and not your heart you will go further in life. I truly believe that in order to be happy your head and your heart must think the same way. It has been my experience that if you let your heart rule you you will be hurt!

if he is still involved in the same lifestyle he is never going to change. Get a real man. One that can take care of you. not one you will have to take care of behind bars.

I know change is hard, but the less time you are together this easier it is... I would RUN NOW

No offense but, he doesnt love you. He just wants someone he can depend on. Ive just dumped a guy after 3yrs because i got tired of him always telling me he was going to change. He never did. He only said that so i'd feel better & i would believe him. Im 31yrs old. I know what im talking about her. You need to let him go. Listen to your family. Once you dump him, rely on your familys support to get you through.

Your family and friends aren't going to dislike him for no reason. They probably see something in him that you obviously aren't seeing. I would talk to them and find out what THEY think.. Your family/friends care for you....they don't want to see you get hurt, and they don't want to see you end up in a bad relationship.

And what was he incarcerated for? I know I wouldn't want to be involved with a felon.....but I guess that's personal preference. Ultimately, you are the one who will make the decision.....but if you ask me, all signs are pointing to a bad relationship. Leave him.

You are supposed to love some one not be obsessed with the drama that a man/woman brings into your life. You need to look for someone that is stable and caring. good luck

Sounds like time to leave. If he loves you, he'll change his negative behavior.
Don't let him back in your life until he can walk the walk not just talk the talk.
If he can't change, then you need to find someone who can be in a healthy relationship.

To me the whole incarceration thing is a huge red warning flag. Leave. Leave now!
