I bought a replacement blade, but can you tell me how to put the new one on? Is it difficult? What tools do I need?

one thing they failed to mention the retaining bolt will be tight, take a piece of 2x4 about a foot long, rotate the blade and position the piece of wood in the discharge chute area of mower and wedge it between the chute and blade when lossing it...will aid in your changing the blade and holding it fast...good luck

You will need to jack the mower up so you have room to work on it. Be very careful that you block it to keep it from falling on you. Also, disconnect the spark plug wire so it doesn't start accidently. All you need is a ratchet and socket to fit the bolt(s) head. Check which way the ends of the blade is pitched so you do not install it upside down. remove the bolt(s), pull the blade off and replace it.

use spanner to undo lock bolt(s), don't loose washers. pull out blade. put in new, do up bolt(s) easy. you can buy a metal file and sharpen blade rather than buy new blades, keeps them going for a bit longer
