Vegans are crazy, please don´t start down that path! You care so much about animals and think they are so much like us, but did you ever stop to think maybe we are all like them? What do most animals eat? OTHER ANIMALS!!! Why do we humans have canine teeth? Yeah, hate to break it to you but we have them so we can eat animals. Every creature on this planet that has canine teeth eats flesh. Get over it, its your nature! It´s one thing if you just don´t like the taste of meat, but don´t try to act like you´re making a difference or saving the world by not consuming animal products..... Use them wonderful canines mother nature has given you... You should not listen to anything that PETA says or trys to preach because they are dangerous. Anyone who makes a comparision of chickens to people in a concentration camp needs help.... what has a chicken every done for anyone? (except satisfying your hunger?)

am i in violation?

I don't know...we'll just have to see if this question sticks around.

Now, what exactly is a "guild" line btw?

I'll start by saying that I do eat meat. I do know some of the implications though of industrialized meat production. From deforestation through forests being turned into pasture to pig farms polluting our rivers with all of their feces running into rivers. Also it's a known fact that cattle produce greenhouse gasses from their rear ends in great proportions. I'm saying that people do make a difference by not eating meat products. Along the lines of "what has a chicken ever done for you?", I would say that question could be applied to many animals. What has a blue whale ever done for you? What has a Koala bear ever done for you? Does their not "doing anything" for us qualify as a reason to slaughter them? These attitudes come from the school of thought that man is intended by god to dominate nature and everything is for us to use. What this attitude has created is a greatly degraded environment and a world that will be much less comfortable for our grandchildren and their kids. What can you do for the world is a much better attitude than what can it do for me.

First of all, what are termed canine teeth in humans are not true canine teeth. Canine teeth are not blunted, but are sharp and pointy and longer than the teeth around them. A vampire's fangs would be a good example of true canine teeth in the human species. Human teeth were designed for GRINDING (hence the blunted surface) like the herbevoires, not ripping and tearing like a carnivoire. Secondly, true carnivoires eyes are not positioned in front of their heads like a human's eyes are positioned. Their eyes are on the sides of their heads to give them a greater field of vision for stalking their kill and for protecting themselves from being stalked. Humankind could easily have adapted to strict vegetarianism in the nomadic lifestyle of early humans, however when vegetation is scarce, even the most staunch vegetarian will resort to eating meat - hence the evolution of the HUNTER/GATHERERS who migrated across continents giving rise to the omnivores of today.

You could be, since you are insulting people needlessly.

I disagree with you as well. PETA tries to do good, but often fails. They're better off protesting the treatment of animals used for food, rather than the fact that animals are used for food.

Maybe you should leave out the vegans are crazy part, and it wouldn't sound quite so harsh and would be less likely to cause offence.

Everything violates guidelines. I got flagged for asking harmless questions that didn't even generalize or talk against people. With YA! who knows.

It doesn't violate the guild lines, but it might violate the guidelines. But then again, what DOESN'T.

Calling others "crazy" is a violation.

You need to rethink your rant. Killing other living beings is acceptable for survival. Humans no longer need to do so in order to survive.
