O yessssssssssss! Sanjaya's gone! Woo hoo! But I can't help but wonder how this happened. Did voteforthewort.com get shut down? Or did us fellow Anti-Sanjayas vote him off? Do you think the american's votes really count? or do you think they chose who's gone to entertain or crap like that?

Well I think that he had a good run. The time had just come when the other contestants had more votes than him. I think Phil or Chris will be the next to be the target of vote for the worse. As of last night they still had Sanjaya listed. I haven't been on there yet today to see who they are throwing their support behind.

1. I am so happy also that Sanjaya is gone, I was dancing also when the news came out.
2. I don't know if the votefortheworst.com was closed down, but I do know I went on it several times and voted that Sanjaya would leave.
3. I think us Anti-Sanyaja voted him off, my hats off to all of you.
4. I really don't think the votes really count and I wish they would reveal how many votes each person gets.
5. Sometimes I think it is rigged, just my opinoin.

It just got down to the people who had more support than Sanjaya. Besides Phil and Chris none of the other contestants had been in the bottom two. I also think people just couldn't take it anymore. If they choose who gets to stay I think the ratings would go down.

For years I have thought the show was fixed! I have to say I had no problem getting through for Chris who was in the top but I could not get through for Lakisha at all who was in the bottom 3. I have also heard other former contestants say that noe each contestant has the same amount of phone lines open. I don't know if that is true but it's interesting. Someone also said that their is no officail that oversees the voting process like say for the Oscars or Emmys it's just Fox.

It's simple math. All of the Sanjaya-haters had their votes split among the other contestants. But every week, as one more contestant was voted off, the vote-splitting was decreasing. He was bound to reach a point where he wound up last.

I think that he's gone because there are much better singers on there now. That the ones that would be voted off before him are gone. *well he should have been voted off first but...the rest of them were just amazing..i still miss Gina tho*...anyways...
VFTW is still up.*i just went there to see*. Maybe Howard Stern gave up? who knows but i'm thrilled he's gone.

who cares WHY he is gone.......just be thankful that he is finally gone!!!!!!!!!!!!
bet the judges and producers think a little harder about putting someone thru next year that is just for entertainment............
in all fairness, he is not a horrible singer, he was good in auditions, he just really paled in comparison to the rest of the top 12

i hate it that hes gone cuz i reaaly thought that he was so awesome! i love all of his hair style things! right now im at school and i have my hair in a mohawk like he had his that one time when he sang! im still a big fan of him! rock on sanjaya!!

Maybe the voters finally woke up and realized what the show is about. TALENT and everyone knows he sure didnt have that.
