OK, I don't, and my wife doesn't, but some people think women should have the right to kill their unborn children. So go ahead and think that way, it is your right.
But why call it a "medical procedure"? Are you too afraid to call it what it is? I mean, it IS killing your unborn child, is it not? I mean, maybe we can get rid of the word "killing", and say we are "putting it down" to make it sound a LITTLE better, but why not call it for what it is?
After all, no one is saying the Virginia Tech shooter performed 32 "medical procedures", are they? After all, it is his body, he should do what he wants with it, correct?

You are absolutely correct. There is NO reason those children should be starving to death. NONE! And, we have enough to feed those children AND the aborted babies, if we really tried. The problem lies with those governments, WAYF, they are the ones starving those children. Most aid sent gets confiscated for the military. So to blame pro-lifers for this is a bit of a stretch I would say. Need I remind you Christian charities send the most help? Also, those parents aren't intentionally killing those children, while abortion is an intentional act. Although we don't see eye to eye on this issue, this little rant was pretty good, I hope some people were listening.

Abortions are currently legal and the term medical and insurance professionals use is Medical Procedure because that's what it is. It's not say a Mechanical Procedure?
Shooting and killing someone with a hand gun is not currently legal and terms the legal system uses for it is include Murder, Manslaughter, Justifiable Homicide, etc.
Your rhetoric killed your point?

I can't fathom during the middle of birth a doctor slicing open the head of an infant and sucking out its brains. That is basically what a partial birth abortion is. Maybe women should try to be a little more motherly and stay off the prozac?
Maybe prozac interfers with a womans abilities to be motherly and so they get their childrens brains sucked out?

Because it is a procedure performed medically. Therefore: medical procedure. Therefore: we are calling it what it is.
Someone shooting people is neither a procedure nor done medically.
And I would argue on the pint of 'killing your unborn child'. Your comment begs the question, what exactly makes an undeveloped embryo 'alive' to be killed in the first place? How do you define 'life'? To my understanding, the embryo is simply a conglomeration of about 150 little cells. If you call aborting that 'killing', then you're committing mass genocide every time you scratch your nose.

Nope, it doesn't sicken me at all. Abortion IS a medical procedure. Pregnancy is considered a medical condition, and I don't hear you squawking about that.

the call it a medical procedure because it involves doctors, clinics, pills, hospitals, and if it gets botched up and there is an infection they need antibiotics.
I know its clinical sounding but then on paperwork I think its called 'cessation of pregnancy'.. murdered child who will never feel the sunshine never makes it on paper either.
Life has become very cheap in the culture of death.

Comparing it to VTech is like apples and oranges.
However, you have your right to your beliefs. Are you spending your time caring for born but unloved and neglected as well? Do you and your wife foster? Volunteer with children??
