it means that get a start and get going--its is inspiring you
it means that the price u will have to pay if ur a failure is much more than what it costs to work hard and succeed

in a way--it says that the consequences and turns of time will be such for a failure as will be much much more burdening than the effort to succeed(a true effort reaps results)

it takes much less to work hard and succeed than it takes to bear the fruit of ur failure due to ur bad habbits

One of the biggest reasons people fail is due to dishonesty.

A man can be a millionaire but lie about his taxes. The price he pays for tax evasion would be far greater than if he just paid the taxes in the first place.

Recently, a person asked YA for a good excuse to give to her teacher/professor for a late paper. She didn't want the 5% of grade deducted for being late. If she lied to get around the penalty, what has she done to her own level of honesty? She will have to carry that lie around with her when people congratulate her on her grades. Shouldering guilt weighs on the mind and follows a person throughout life. She may have succeeded in getting the grade, but failed her own conscience.

In fact, I don't believe in that at all. My failures have always been more valuable than my successes. We don't learn from success...but if we are smart - we can learn immeasurably from failure.

I would say, instead, that the value of failure is greater than the cost of success...

I understand, but I don't agree. There were so many things I wanted to try in my life, but other people discouraged me from taking a chance. Do you know the saying, "It's better to have loved & lost than never to have loved at all?"....I think the same goes for trying for success. Looking back on my life now, I would have rather tried & failed than to never have tried at all. And, as a footnote, I know a lot of financialy successful people who are miserable. Here's your next question........Where do you find happiness?....money, power, love. serenity, .....etc
