I went through that about 5 years ago. Everything turned out fine. Pre cancerous cells come in 3 stages. The cancerous cells on my cervix were removed by a simple procedure done in the obgyn office. It is something to take seriously but I wouldn't get too worried, if found in time and treated it should not be a problem. Since they are pre cancerous cells then it sounds as if they were detected early. Good luck and try not to worry.

I have gone through this and it turned out to be nothing. They found some cells when I had a pap and I had to go back a few more times to get checked again over like span of 6 months to a year I think. Alot of times the paps come back abnormal for a lot of reasons, like you had intercourse recently before the pap, etc. Try not to worry until they do the tests.

Having an abnormal Pap test isn't any reason to panic—it doesn't always mean that you are at risk for cancer or even have HPV. Your doctor or healthcare professional may repeat the Pap test or do other tests as needed.
Have you hear of GARDASIL? It's for girls and women ages 9 to 26. GARDASIL works when given before you have any contact with HPV Types 6, 11, 16, and 18.
If you've already been infected with HPV, you may still benefit from GARDASIL because it is unlikely that you have been infected with all 4 types of the virus covered by the vaccine. Your doctor or healthcare professional can help you understand more.

Don't worry until u know for sure. A friend of mine had that & went & they went in through her vagina with a thin wand & froze the areas. we got to watch it on a tv screen. she said it didn't hurt.BUT remember u have to go get check @ least once a year of if u experience any abnormal problems go to the Drs. she had this done 2 years ago & has been symptom free. good luck to u. be safe & healthy. xoDonnaP
