I see myself in a negative light and don't see my positive points. I tend to downgrade myself too easily and am my own worst enemy.

I keep going over and over in my head past incorrect decisions that I have made that have hurt people. I feel like I should hate myself for that reason.

How do you learn to like and accept yourself and also not compare your life to other people's lives?

You can be your own best friend, by loving yourself :) Treat yourself well. Eat a healthy diet, work out, take care of your skin, do little things to reward yourself when you accomplish something (doesn't always have to be a big one)

Bear in mind, that you're not made to perfection. Its alright to make mistakes, Its alright to face disappointments. We actually learn from all the negativity that goes on in our lives. Every time we fall, we get up feeling alot stronger than before :)

Forget about the wrong decisions you made in the past. That's something you can never change. You have the power not to repeat your mistakes. Learn to forgive yourself. Live in the present :)

Everyone has different talents. Some people are fast learners, some are slow. Being a slow learner dosn't mean you won't be able to become someone in life. It also dosn't mean that the fast learner is better than you in any way. Just go at your own pace :)

I hope you feel better :)

don't just skate over a negative impression of yourself. Getting involved in new stuff will occupy your attention for a while but then you will end up having to face it at some point. I used to struggle with the same thing. but now i don't judge myself based on my circumstances. I judge me based on my potential and what God thinks of me. take time to write down the good about yourself. You may have to think hard because you have a prejudged illusion of yourself. But there is good in everyone. so for every negative thought you have about yourself, find a counteractive positive one. I WILL TAKE WORK!!!
