I have always heard that. Do people who do that suffer from some sort of brain damage?

I saw it done in physiology class in high school. Had the nuttiest teacher...he let us ask him *anything* and when someone asked him this he said he would get back to us on it. Couple days later in class, he did just that, lit one up! and it was soooo funny. He said he ate lots of pinto beans for the previous two days. Gosh...funny, funny memory! Loved that guy. Brain damaged? Probably!

I tend to doubt that. I think the flame would have to be too close to your butt to accomplish combustion.
