I never named any of my cars until the one I have now. It's a 2005 Prius. I named it Eleanor. Reason being I was looking at getting a new Mustang, then for some reason I stopped to look at a Prius on a dealer lot.

I figured, why not make a joke of it, seeing as it couldn't be too much further from a true Eleanor.

Ohhh, yeah.

First car, I called Clunk...one of it's favorite noises. 62 Ford Falcon, lol
Dewie - a Mt. Dew colored 71 Mustang
Lightnin - 65 Mustang - white, very fast
Babycar - 85 Olds Calais, had 80 on the speedometer, could get that by just touching the pedal - very very fast little car.
Ol Bloo was a blue Catalina (strangely enough, one of my favorite cats was also called Ol Bloo)
Green Meenie - green Chrysler Sebring LXi - looked hungry!
My current Honda is generally called #$#@$, though Oopsie is sometimes used.

My was called 'The General' after the General Lee on Dukes of Hazzard. The doors froze shut so me and my friends had to get in through the windows. We still did it even after the doors thawed. It was a blue Grenada with a white top and I wrote 'The General' on it with a sharpie. It was also called that because my best friend had a green Grenada and we used to race them.

My grandmother called all her cars Betsy and I have done the same.

My best friend calls her car George, as in George of the Jungle (Look out for that tree!) because she managed to back into two different trees in her own yard leaving for work one morning.

Yes, always a female name. Women names sound sexier with the vowel ending words.

I name every mode of transportation that I own. My truck is named Stanford, my mountain bike is Gary, my snowboard is named Frisco and my shoes are names Pete and Re-Pete. It's a little weird, but fun.
