Nowadays, promotions are not linked to qualifications. However, qualifications do help in case of a tie. But if you serious about studies, do it seriously without thinking whether the certificate helps you or not. Acquiring good knowledge and doing a good project will definitely help you.
All the best.

At the least if it dosen't help you get a promotion, you will more than likely get a pay raise out of it. The only thing that will help you get a promotion is far exceeding what your company requires you to do in your current position. I have been in banking for 5 years and the job description for what I do "requires that I have a degree in finance" however, I do not have a degree. No where near it. I would reccomend taking a certification course (e.g., series 6 or 63 or 7 training) that pertains to what you want to do. Those types of courses will HELP you get a promotion faster than an MBA.

Any piece of paper that says you are educated in anything can't hurt. An MBA is a serious degree and would be taken seriously by your employer. Just how seriously is a matter of degree. Harvard's MBA probably carries more weight and prestige than diploma for Lower Slowboken Correspondence School and Massage Parlor of Northern Mongolia.
My point is, before you pay for a sheep skin, make sure the diploma is actually worth something.

i believe that rather than doing a distance mba course, it better if you do a full time MBA degree as there is lots to an MBA degree, which you would not get if you were to do it through distance education....when you finish your MBA, you have better chances of getting a better job...so make a decision after some thought on this..talk to someone, who you know very well, who has done a full time MBA .ask their opinion also.

An MBA can help you anywhere... You should look into Columbia College online. It's a college based in Columbia, MO. Very good school.

Perhaps a course/courses in spelling, grammar, and writing would do you more good. I'm not trying to be mean, but if this is the way you actually spell and write (as your email suggests), you may be held back by your inability to communicate effectively, either on paper or in person, or both.

hehe most likely not... the ads will tell you that it helps but really, those things are a mockery of education, any smart boss realizes that... online diploma is about as useful as toilet paper...

Depends on what you are trying to promote to. I would imagine that it couldn't hurt.
