Is it just me thats unfortunate with these courtesy/marketing/you've won a cruise callers timing - or do they do it to everyone??
Ive just spent the last ten mins adding up pages of numbers - when one of them calls and interrupted my frame of thought and I now have to start all over again!!!
ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

They do that on purpose. They call at times when they "think" you might be at home, or available...like dinner time, bed time, nap time, lol. Check out the "do not call" lists. They work great unless you've given these people permission to call for some other reason.
I don't answer ones who don't have a phone number AND NAME showing on the caller I.D.

I used to work for a prize company, calling people to tell them they had won holidays,cash etc. I hated it people would shout down the phone telling me to f*** off then you would get those that totally fell for the whole thing. Its a con people would spend a fortune on phone calls then we would tell them they had won and direct their call to another line but they never got through then they would call back having a go at me which is totally understandable!

I think they're spies and have security cameras around people's houses so they know what time to call just as you're tied up doing something else. Call BT and get your name put on the TPS (telephone preferential service) list. I did and I don't get those calls anymore. It lets cold callers know not to call you

See, this is why I dont have a landline at home - too many Kitchen Direct calls for my liking! and at work, well theyd have to get through switchboard. Lucky me! :O) xx

theres never a good time,my kids have a competition going to see if they can get the caller to hang up on them....

it's always a bad-time for telemarketers to call....because you NEVER want to talk to them! I always tell them I'll have to get back to them, I am busy, what's thier home number that I can call THEM back at, and what's thier mother's maiden name. They normally hang up pretty quickly. Always funny.
