opposites attract...
after many years of being with an opposite, no fun..
I've said & will continue to say, next time , it's gonna be someone whom I have likes & dislikes in common with...
I think it would be wonderful....

I'm thinking it would be boring but I'm sure they'd last a very long time together since they're so much alike....
That's probably why there are so many divorces, the personalities are just way too different from each other
and when your that much out of sync you've got to work on the relationship more than usual to stay together....but that's just my opinion

OK if live with someone with your same personality is GREAT because you always want to do the same things, but in the long run you may get boring because you'll have nothing to argue about. But if you live with someone with opposite point of view then there's always something to talk about since you are always gonna have different opinions. My husband and i are like this and think this is definitely better because at times since we don't agree on certain things he wants to try my point of view and i want to try his so it becomes very interesting.

As I see it the relationship may get a little boring. As I see it you need someone that may share the same interest as you but willing to bring something new to the table. Plus why would you want someone that agrees on everything with you. That's what makes this world of ours so colorful!!

Ummm, it doesn't work so well if you don't have a lot in common. My husband and I are mostly opposites...our marriage has lasted the 8 years it has so far, because I give in on almost every point of contention, and there have been MANY.
He thinks we have a great marriage. I think I may be getting tired of saying "yes, dear"...
