they won the world cup the last 2 times, and they are the #1 ranked team in the world. they havent lost a single game in the world cup matches. Also,they have the best bowlers and batters.
im hoping they will win, becasue a lot of people are going to retire soon(for example, Glenn McGrath is retiring in a few weeks).

Sri Lanka has a good chance of winning with their nuke - Lasith Malinga. I believe I heard from the commentators that Australia have never faced Malinga before (I could be wrong) so Australian batsmen would be taken by surprise when they face his bowling of unique trajectory. That could produce some key wickets for Sri Lanka, which would be the edge that's definitely needed to beat the Australian leviathans.
