Isn't that precisely what a person who does something like this wants? Does that not encourage those possibly on the verge of a copycat event?

You would think so. It is major news but at the same time that is what these sick bastages want. They want to earn infamy. I think it would be fine to read a statement or interview the victims but this just perversly glorifies that wacko.

I'm sure Cho knew that his photographs and videos would be found for everyone to see. Perhaps that's why made them. But the news is probably just informing us all of what they have found to warn us and let us know what was behind that mind of his. Who knows why they're going public with everything though!One pic/video is enough.

it will also hopefully prevent another attack

the whole point that they want toget out there is that if it saves one persons life. then they did their job. not much can be done for the 32 people who had to die. but if someone sees this and says hey that guy is alot like bubba and bubba gets the help he needs then it all has served its purpose and by bubba getting help mANY LIVES HAVE BEEN SPARED
