munna, what are you talking about....

Indians rule India.... do you mean that they do so badly? Well, that is always a subject for discussion ("a moot point") that always comes up ... but in the case of India, it is a country with a large population that is finally recovering from British rule which interrupted Indian ways, and the Moslem rule before the British, and all in all that took 550 (?) years away from self-rule .. it takes some time to get that "Self" back ... so do not think there is anything unusual about it ... it is only to be expected ...

The thing to do is to get back to Indian ways ... there are many things about Indian tradition that are very good ... after all, tradition evolves to make people comfortable. Traditions are still good and always will be because they came from the people themselves ... every nation learns from other nations, just as humans learn from each other, but it is best if the majority of the tradition remains in the hands of the people .... if there is too much interference, to much foreign influence, that is not good.

Now, the problem is: how to popularize Indian tradition? One must encourage things that will always promote social health, comfort with society.

traditions of society: religion, especially
homes, clothing, food, manners ...
Whatever is Indian ...

And then more national pride, more unity will come into being ...

Also, there is always the question: Is it best for big government to rule ... or is it best to leave rulership to the people, at least on a smaller scale ... ex: states and districts ... always, always that is the question.

Personally I think that if people got together on a smaller scale and tried to solve problems themselves, that would be best, and not leave everything to the government.

You see, it is best that people not say, "Oh, those crazy rotten no-good villagers ..." or "Oh, those crazy idiots in Chennai, they don't even care ..." or "Who cares about the Yamuna .... let it be dirty!!!" or "Who cares if those people don't even own a sewing machine ... or a bicycle!" but instead it must be "Let us get together and put our wise heads together, and help these people out of their difficulties ...." then I am sure it will work. There are people with clear-headed vision, there is plenty of money available on a private level, but first must be the dediction to God and to Society .... that is not impossible.

Peace & Love

When you start ruling with our biased leanings, you are actually thrusting upon the majority of the people a diktat. And India, plagued by the evils of caste and communal feelings is not able to have the correct governance, because of bias in the minds of most of the people.

Indians of rational thinking can always rule the country in an appropriate manner.

I don't mind a person like Rahul Gandhi, occupy the centre stage in the matters of India and for the benefit of India.
