this is getting to close to home for me

there was a school shooting in my city last week. It was a lame one and no one was seriously hurt, but I think the ppl who do these things are a hard core version of people who do things to get others to acknowledge their existence. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

The news doesn't air all news. I've learned that by listenting to my area's local police scanner online. I've heard A LOT of things that was never mentioned on the morning, noon or nightly news. So for a station like CNN to not air this is not unheard of, it wasn't as big as the VAtech, so they'd rather show coverage of that, and not a small incident.

Oh no. I have not heard of that one. Why do kids have guns? I wish we could be back to the time when kids got into trouble for sticking their chewed gum under the desk or the long hair of the girl sitting in front of them.

they had a lock down here (about 20 min from where i live) at a high school b/c a kid brought a knife...
