They are called cookies, little links to each and every webpage you visit, saved to your computer. Also there is a history saved to your computer. You could backtrack every single page visited if you so desired.

No question is dumb.

I don't have netzero, so I could be wrong, but I don't think it is netzero that saves your history - it is saved by Internet Explorer.

If you do not want your history saved:

click Tools, Internet Options
delete cookies
delete files (offline files)
clear history (set days to save to 0 if you want)
click o.k.

Stop Autocomplete / Remove Passwords
Tools
Internet Options
Content
Autocomplete
cl Settings
clear the boxes to remove autocomplete
Delete Autocomplete History

I want to say first of all, there's no such thing as a dumb guestion. What's dumb is if you leave a question unasked. Now, I don't have netzero for my internet, I have charter cable and it came with a disc(cd) and I load it through my tower and saved it on my computer myself. I took a look at the other answers to your question and they are all right.

i do believe it saves it to your computer in your cookies folder, and your history in your address bar
