Windows like word or any folder which I open are not visible in the toolbar below. Even when I minimize.

I don't know how to do it right but till you get to know I have some arrangement
press alt+tab
leave tab (all the windows open will be displayed)
keep alt pressed
choose the windows with pressing tab
when chosen leave tab and alt
the window will appear
(Note: this will only do when more than 1 window is open)

Don't know if this works but...make sure your toolbar isn't locked (right click and uncheck "lock toolbar") and then pull the little bars on it untill it works. Have heard of this problem once before.

Look at the Taskbar. Do you see vertical bars? Hover your cursor over one until you see a two-headed cross. Drag it to the left or right and see what turns up.
