Go and ask him, straight out.
Tell him if he is not happy going out with you, just let you know so you can do the right thing and break up, instead of being sly and cheating behind your back.
If he IS cheating, he is not worth your time.

Here is where you have to follow your gut. If your gut tells you he is cheating, chances are he most likely is. If his behavior has changed in the recent past (longer working days, more time away from home, etc) there is a reason.
Be careful when listening to other people telling you what is going on. You need to find out for yourself. i know it sounds sliy, or underhanded, but the next time he goes out, follow him. Get your answers and go from there.

It isn't fair that SOME people would TELL you that he is cheating. Cheating isn't as easy pinpoininting your bf and badmouthing him of actions that you haven't seen. You need real evidence... in 2 years of relationship, ask him about it. Open up.He's your bf anyhow... if there's anyone who have the right to know, its not going to be the other people who might have misinterpret your bf. It has to come from HIM and to YOU. Don't believe just yet..

I would confront him about it, if you are really close, you will be able to tell if he is lying to you. Tell him how you feel and tell him people have been telling you things, you then need to tell him the results if he is, or is ever caught cheating. Be strong and do not give in to his puppy eyes.

(1) Get one of your gf's to set him up and see if he takes the bait.
(2) Do that female thing: I know what you've been up to - don't try to hide it from me
(3) Ask the people who have told you, what sort of evidence they have

Well considering that we don't know who the "some people" are and what their stake in your relationship is we can't truly know.
If you don't talk to him and let him know what you are hearing and let him communicate with you then you will never know for sure.

What would you need to believe it for yourself?
Do they say who she is when they tell you this?
Can you ask her?
Can you check her house for his car when he has "dissapeared"?
Hey, maybe he's not. YOU need to find out.
Do what you need to do to SEE it for yourself, then move on and find a new man...a better man.

what does your gut tell you? I know it sounds old fashioned but I am a firm believer in the gut never lies.
