The problem is that I would be leaving my family, friedns and boyfriend at home. I woul be a state awaywhile everyone that I love is here. Should I follow my dreams or stay with the people who I love the most.

Easy; GO TO SCHOOL.....your future happiness is just as important as being close to family, etc. and there are telephones!! and ways of transporting yourself back home for visits!! don't be a fool; you will hate yourself in the future and become bitter over not having taken this opportunity...trust me!! here's a thought for you; when you reach retirement age, (whatever it'll be when your age group retires) will you be able to look back and say, "Hey, I did all the things I wanted to do with my life; career wise, etc...??" Well, I"m 65 now and I can look back with joy and peace and say that I did all the career things I wanted; no regrets, and lots of lessons and friends along the way!!!! trust an older guy on this one!! LOL..and GO!!!!!!!!! The people you love will always be there and will, I'm sure, be rooting for your success!!...and one more thing; (I'm sure you already know this, but here goes) while you are studying, whenever an opportunity arises for an audition, etc.. TAKE IT.no matter what it is; you never know what life has in store for you!! Always keep uppermost in your mind how you will feel when you've accomplished your goals; keep this in the back of your mind at all times; THOUGHTS ARE THINGS & you will get back what you think about!!! ACT AS IF is a great philosophy; act, right now, and feel, right now, what you'd feel when you accomplished something...If you get discouraged, just put a smile right back on your face and keep on going....your family and friends back home will be a great support system for you, I know...

You should follow your dreams. Your family will be there for you always. If your boyfriend doesn't last, it wasn't meant to be.

You've spent so much of your life getting ready for this. I'm a professional musician, and my daughter is training to be an actress, so I know how much effort you've put into this. It's more than 4 years too, you've been preparing for the audition for 4 years, but you've been preparing for this experience probably since childhood. While it is scary to leave home, it's also a very natural thing to do. You will have an unbelievable experience going to this school (conservatory?). You will become so much more of a musician, you will develop such a love for music that you didn't think you could, because you already love it so much. Just watch out for music theory classes!!! Those are killers!!!

Best of luck to you!

Follow your dreams! You'll always have weekends, holidays, school breaks to visit family, friends & loved ones. You will feel unfulfilled and won't do anyone a favor if you don't follow your dreams. Besides, what have you been working so hard for all this time? Your family & true friends will still be there when you return. You will also get to meet new people in your new school. Don't give it a second thought.

Why don't you just follow your dream. I mean your Family will support you in every thing you do. And if you and your boyfriend really love each other and are meant to be together then that will survive no matter what. But be carefully for what you wish for. Being away from your family will make you stronger and more responsible in life, Which is a good thing don't you think..

You're not to follow your heart, follow your brain instead on this one ... and it sounds like your brain is saying 'it's time to grow up and be an adult'. Friends and family will always be there, but an opportunity like this comes once, literally, in a life-time. You're prepared for it. Go for it. But, please understand, there will be home sickness and there will be a period of mourning. A par of your life will die, but like the flowers in the Spring, they will yield to even more beautiful things soon enough.

I would follow your dreams and see were they take you. Those that love you will always love you, but this may be a once in a life time opportunity. GO for it.

Live to regret things you ahve done, not the things you didn't do. Follow your heart, those people will always love you, the chances you get, they don't wait for long.
