why didn't ghosts pass on??

why are ghosts here when they are dead people????

There are many theories out there. First off is they have unfinished business on Earth. The second is they are a demon or demonic entity. and they just don't want to pass on. Yet another reason is that the spirit was an adherent to a religion that had no Heaven or Hell. Those are just some theories I've come across in research. The last one and most quote-un-quote non-Scientific is that when a person dies there body is all that dies and their spirit lives on. Regardless of any theories it is sure to be that there are ghosts among us and they are hear to stay.

~They have unfinished business here on Earth
~They’re afraid to move on to the next level because of what they think awaits them
~They want to pass over but can’t see the light
~They do not realise they are dead or
~They like it here and just want to hang around

the popular theory is that they either have unfinished business to attend to or sometimes that it may be due to a traumatic death and they may not know they are dead. but there are many types of haunting's and the reasons can vary theoretically by type there are some good links on colspcghosts@yahoogroups

There has never been any proof of the existence of ghosts, therefore there cannot be a scientific explanation... Also, even if they existed, we could only speculate on the reason why they're here...
