Keeping in mind that he is only 17, I did feel sorry for him. A few weeks ago, when he wasn't getting voted off, he would hang his head, you could tell he knew someone with much more talent was leaving. I think he started to believe his own press and I think he thought he might actually have a chance of winning regardless of whether it was a cosmic joke or not. Maybe he even thought he might be the next Donny Osmond or Michael Jackson.
With that said,
We jumped up and cheered. The fact that he was on this long was unbelievable. He really needed to go. I hope he celebrates that he was on this long..............because talent-wise he sure shouldn't have been.
The only thing.......... Whatever will we do for entertainment???? I about fell off the couch laughing when he had his ponytail mo hawk. The next day, my ribs were hurting from laughing so hard (seriously, no kidding, my ribs hurt.) I was glad that I had vcr'd it because I was laughing so hard I couldn't hear what he was singing, not only that, it was still funny the second time.

i'm also a supporter of Blake Lewis, he's extremely proficient. I agree including your alternatives for the winner. Sanjaya could were despatched domicile a lengthy time period in the past, he makes a fool of himself per week, even with the actual undeniable actuality that very last Wednesday wasn't so undesirable. even even with the actuality that I do income from the teach that's like one large shaggy dog tale this 365 days. AI is on the verge of dropping that's credibility.

I'M SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOU'RE GLAD SANJAYA'S GONE. BUT THE PROCESS TO GET HIM TAKEN OFF THE SHOW WAS DEFINITELY UNFAIR. AT THE END OF LAST NIGHT'S SHOW (4/18/07) FOX PUT A DISCLAIMER UP SAYING THAT THE PRODUCERS OF AMERICAN IDOL HAD THE ABILITY TO CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF THE SHOW. I GUESS THEY DECIDED ON THEIR OWN TO BOOT SANJAYA AND NOT AMERICA. THEY NEED TO PLAY FAIR!

lol. I screamed and kicked my feet and blurted some profanity at the tv, I WAS SO HAPPY THAT HE FINALLY GOT BOOTED OFF IDOL! I think if i would have had to endure his bad singing, ugly outfits, and bad hair, that i was going to stop watching Idol forever. Thank goodness he is gone and America can finally sit down to watch the rest of the members who have talent, duke it out to see who is Americas next Idol! Yeah! He is gone!

You and I both. I've never been so happy to see a contestant leave in my life--with the exception of Bucky from last season.

well sure, i mean...it was inevitable!
but i have to admit - it's just not going to be as interesting. i waited every week to see what his hair would be like and what song he would butcher!
he didn't deserve to stay on, but now that he's off....it's a little weird!
