Already on the Wed of my husband's 30th, I am flying his best friend to FL from Oregon. I am throwing a suprise party for him that Sat, while his friend is still here. I am looking for a theme or where I should send them while Im setting up... who to invite, all those ideas. Ive never thrown a suprise party before so i really need some help here! THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS.. I was thinking I would have everyone dress in black and do the over the hill thing... HELP!!

I may be wrong, but I thought the over the hill was for when you turn 40???
I would have fun with the theme like do a TI KI theme, or something along those lines.
I would invite anyone from your town that is family or friends, maybe even co-workers that he seems to enjoy their company.
Maybe send your husband and friend out golfing, that usually takes several hours, or find a hobby that they both enjoy and set them up for the afternoon.

Does he have a favorite sports team or hobby? That's where you'd get your theme from. Invite people at work and his friends from the neighborhood. Invite family and friends and keep it fun and wild. Don't get too crazy for him.
And, remember, he not only needs a party given by you, but he also needs a surprise from you as well, a weekend away, whatever, but something between the two of you.
