Yes You Can.
But certain computer like laptop or older pc may not compatible with newest one, so this type of computer cannot change.
So, very simple
Firstly, Bring your computer to Computer shop and show them, ask their advise which processor you can change. then buy from them and they lovely to change it for you.
that's all.
i not suggest you change it your self if you never change before or have no knowledge on it.
if you change wrongly will resulted whole computer (Motherboard and components connected together can) burn and you end up change the entire computer.

yes. its not very difficult to do in fact. Keep in mind that you must get a new processor of the same socket otherwise you will have to get a new motherboard as well which can be a much more challenging installation if you've never done it before.
