Get one of those plastic kiddie baseball bats like a wiffle-ball bat, and get a big pillow. When you get home, take the plastic bat and beat the hell out of the pillow. Scream, yell, beat until you're too tired to move and let all your anger out.
Then sit and relax and try to think why some idiot made you so mad. Realize that you're better than that idiot, that even if you do get mad again, you're strong enough to wait till you get home to take that anger out on something that won't get you into trouble.
Anger management counseling works well too. But one of the first things they'll tell you is what I just wrote above!

I'm amused at how many people suggested medication!

What you need to learn to do is ignore people! I think adults in our culture are so intent on teaching our children to defend themselves but we dont teach them any POSITIVE mechanisms. Such as simply talking out the problem! You dont have to yell to get your point across. You dont have to intimidate people to get your point across. In the end you've only made yourself look like a fool. If you can't reach a common ground with a person that you are in disagreement with then the next best thing to do is walk away from the situation. It's called maturity, and the older you get the more you'll understand why it's so important. Some people provoke you to MAKE you lose control. You need to think of that also.

When you lose control your only giving it to the next person and now THEY are the one who is in control of you.

Well, good start. You are mad at the right person. Learn how not to argue if you can not control your anger. Rational argument is healthy. Getting angry when you can not make a better point is not okay. Its far better to teach yourself to intentionally and gracefully bow out of the argument and keep your mouth shut than to lose control and show your stupidity.

Ask the school and your parents about anger management classes. Also, meditation is a great help. You can find it on line, books and cd's at the library, and classes in your neighborhood. Meditating twice a day will make a huge difference in all parts of your life.

Tell yourself I'm not going to let this person take me somewhere I don't want to go. When someone starts to make you fell angry just stop dealing with them, walk away if you can and definitely stop talking to them no matter how hard they try to keep it going. Remember that once they make you that angry they are controlling you. Also I try to tell myself reacting that way is communicating a message that I care what you think and I'm going to change your mind about how think. This is in a way actually respecting them. Is that what you want to tell someone who makes you angry?

You need an outlet for your rage, like intensive workouts, running, swimming etc. Then, when the rage hits, you will learn to go to your happy place, and not let people trouble you. Rage is very bad for your health.

I find humor often diffuses my temper, and others, as well. But I'm not always successful, and then it's best to just walk away...silently.
