Who tried to modernize the power supply unit?

If you mean replace the power unit it is not difficult follow the link given in the previous answer. If however you mean repair or alter your existing PSU don't go there. It is all too easy to blow your computer completely yo say nothing of killing yourself. If you don't want to do it yourself PC World or any good computer shop will do it for you for a small charge.
