Whats up RedSox. Your questions are cool.
I think the problems people have with Bill Billichick are stupid, and based on silly things.
A) his style of coaching is very very boring. Theres nothing exciting about it. IT's mainly conservative, runs the ball, kills the clock. Takes the safe field goal over going for the 1st down on 4th and 2. Very Bill Parcells-like, but hey, combined they have 5 super bowl rings, dont they? Or is it 6?
B) His bedside manner SUCKS. The thing with Eric Mangini
made him look bad, referring to his former pupil as "the other guy", as if he were a nothing. He's got no personality. So people right away say he's a bastard. Well, personality has nothing to do with his genius game plans.
C) Plain ol' jealously, bro. I think you called that one right.

to the person who said that he got Lucky and happend to be in the right place at the right time......did you know that since he's been on the team we've only had 12 pro bowl players that's less then some teams get in a single season....he takes average players and makes them play great.....and to the person who said tony dungy was a better coach....you've got to be kidding me right?!?!?! First of all Tony as always been a much better defensive coach then offensive and the colts defense have been horrible ever since he got there....I think the real coach of the colts is the offensive cord. and manning.....Just face it people Bill is the best coach in the league right now....i think the only other coach that could even compete with Bill is mike form Denver

People are jealous and try to hide behind dumb reason, who cares what he dressed like? Who cares that he doesnt smile? He is a football coach not a fashion model. People are just mad and try and find any reason they can to be haters. He is a great defensive mind, his teams win because he is a great coach, and he will get another Superbowl this year and all the haters will be sitting here again talking about his shirt like a bunch of whining school girls.

My problem with Belichick is simple. He's overrated. His team won all those games, those 3 Super Bowls, not Belichick. Throw any coach with the Patriots, they could still be a high playoff contender. Throw Belichick on, say, Oakland, they would still be a losing team. Belichick was just in the right place at the right time, whenever Bledsoe went down and Brady came in. Everybody talks of how Belichick is great, he's not, his players are. Belichick may have 3 rings, but anyone else with the same players could have had those rings instead.

The guy is a friggin genius and will be in the Hall of Fame. Coaching is not a popularity contest so i hope nobody is grading him on anything other than what takes place on the field.

Belicheck has gotten lucky with this team (The team Parcells built). If he ever moves on, or when Tom Brady loses a step because he is too tired chasing after one of his seven kids, the mystique will wear off.
Like Parcells, if Belicheck leaves the Pats he will probably not be able to repeat this success.

I dunno, but some guy before me said he was the bet coach in the NFL. Tony Dungy is. The Colts went 9-0 two seasons in a row. When did Belicheck do that? Now, I'm not saying he's not the a good coach. I'm just saying he's not as good as Dungy.

Bill Belicheck is a pompous prick who wears a ragged, thread-bare sweater that looks like something a drunk hobo discarded. The word Belicheck is Norwegian for dick head.

People think he's just always in a crappy mood because you rarely see him smile...Its just crap...He's the best coach in the NFL...It's also envious Colts fans...Does it look like he's in a crappy mood below?
