Have you ever gone to Spain or the Carribean or anywhere where the pace of life is much slower? Get frustrated for the first couple of days until you chilled out? What is wrong with this country (UK) that we get ourselves in such a hurry? I thought the point of technology doing things so fast was that so we humans wouldn't have to? So, how have got ourselves in this state and how can we fix it? What do people think?

I'm not an old person by the way, I'm only 27 and I'm a Londoner so I'm pretty used to rushing, I'm just sick of it!

I encountered this 15 years ago when I moved from the NY City area to southern Florida, where the pace is slower. It can be annoying sometimes, even after 15 yrs- like at lunchtime and I have an hour, and the retirees are la la la, and I have to get back to the office. But all in all, it's less harried and nice.
