,I believe that God speaks to all of us all the time but of course some of us know better than He does anyway, and most of us are too busy to listen for answers to the questions that we ask Him. I was Christian for many years but in latter years It all began to fall apart. As a person I am no worse or better than anyone else and I was tired of begging forgiveness for being human. I was tired of being saved from what God had made me. After much searching I realised that I was Pagan and although it took a long time to believe I wouldn't be struck by lightening by a vengeful God or cast into everlasting hell I am at last at peace. God speaks to my heart with every tree and flower, every bird and creature. He is in the Wind, She is the air I breathe, He washes me with rain and warms me with the Sun. I am my own priestess and no one stands between me and my Creator. The fields and garden are my church and the Earth is my Mother. Just open your eyes and see your God.

Yes, I believe He speaks to people...but, I do not think it's in the way we communicate with each other...He doesn't walk up to you like a human would...He is a Spirit...God comes face-to-face with you in different ways...for example, take a look a newborn baby, or a beautiful rainbow...that is God..face-to-face...

In the Bible it says that the face of God is to intense for us and we are not allowed to see God. I believe how ever that we are allowed to see Jesus. I do not tell too many people because I always get a strange reaction but I had a vision when I was going through a particularly hard time in my life, I was crying, well I thought my world had collapsed when my marriage fell apart and one minute I am in my kitchen the next I was standing in front of Jesus and he was on his throne. His throne was beautiful and ornate, he had on a beautiful thick plush robe, I saw his hands on the arms of the throne and he slowly started to get up and as he did oil began to run from the folds of his robe and he said I am beginning to rise now, and next minute I was back in my kitchen. I looked in the Bible for some meaning and there is a reference to the Son rising....it gave me such peace I can not even tell you. Why I was allowed to experience that I don't know but I felt as though I had received a gift. It didn't fix my situation but it made me feel better, and I no longer have any doubt at all as to God and Jesus existence.....I believe we are approaching the end times and I don't think people have visions like they used to but yes I believe that it is possible, I know it is, I experienced it.

Well, I think the Bible says somewhere that no one can come face to face with God and live, but as for whether He still speaks to people, yes, I believe He does. I've known some people who have said He has spoken audibly to them; I don't know these people well enough to know if they're telling the truth, lying, or just weird. He's spoken to me through other people and through circumstances, as well as through the Bible.

Yes, and there's a partial record of Zeus talking with a woman in Maja Mara blog on Yahoo 360. It's great fun!
But to answer seriously, yes, the Lord God Jehovah does indeed talk to people, usually by gentle nudges ("intuition") to the person in mind.

I think so. But I don't think too many people would listen if God suddenly materialized right then and there at least not the biblical God anyway, people would be too scared to pay attention! But in more subtle ways, yes...

YES He speaks to us through his Holy word the Bible. I perfer the King James version . I have tried several versions they are all confusing to me. So I stick with the King James. Not only his word but sometimes he uses angels to deliver his message. Thats why we need to attend church regularly to hear his word and to learn how we can converse back with him and hear his voice speaking to us.
