Hi Tim, first up relax. Her periods are doing a change which happens sometimes. At sixteen most periods can be irregular. Five days late isnt a real big deal (particularly because of her last period). You may find it could be due to stressing about gettting her period - or other things like stress, diet etc etc. Wait until she hasnt had it for 1 week. Get a pregnancy test and tell her to do it. If then it reads a negitive, tell her (and you) to relax and then her period should come. if after 2 weeks she hasnt, then a trip to the doctors is in order. If you didnt ejaculate inside her then the chances are she is not pregnant only worried she is. If you did ejaculate inside her then get a test now to put her mind (and yours) to rest. Good luck and please ensure you both use the right birth control (eg the pill and condoms) so you dont go through this every month, and further accidents can happen and a child for you two wouldnt be the smartest thing to do now.

First off, start using a condom, even if you're "pulling out." Secondly, there's such a thing as the "day after pill," though it might be too late for you as I think it only works up until 5 days past conception (talk with you doctor or pharmacist about this). Also, at least here in the States, you have to either be 18 to buy the pill or have a parent's permission. (Which I agree with in principal but see how it can backfire.) I'm not sure of the laws "across the pond."

Did you have sex? If the answer to that is "Yes" then the answer to your question is "Yes, she could be pregnant." There is no 100% safe method of birth control. Even the best methods have about a 99% success rate (sometimes a bit better). That's why they're typically used in combination (such as you wear a condom with spermicide and she takes birth control pills).
Still, your age is too young to be sexually active. Get married first. It solves a lot of these problems. The curse of this nation is pregnancy out of wedlock - it's the #1 reason for abortion, it's the #1 reason for teen pregnancy, and it's a huge contributor to the breakdown of society.
Also, don't consider abortion even if it were legal. Unless you don't think murder is a crime. It sounds like the middle east is way ahead of America in that aspect! We're so barbaric in the way we treat our children.
Okay, the lecture is over.

There's something called "implantation bleeding" when a fertilised egg attaches to the uterus. This can look like an early period. Usually nothing like as heavy as a period though. An early very light period followed by no period might be pregnacy.
Worry itself can cause a delayed period. Do a pregancy test to be sure. In any case, children are just wonderful.

The possibility is there. Heard of the morning after pill. It has to be taken within 72 hours. The sooner the better. But now you will have to play the wait and see game. Since you buy the condoms go to the store and buy a test. It don't matter what kind it is. There all pretty good know. Even if a light barley readable positive comes up. Congrats your a father.

The best thing you can do is go out and by a pregnancy test, it tells you right then and there. Good luck! And if she isn't I would advise you to get her on the pill, still use a condom for STD's. You are both young and a baby is a HUGE responsibility, as I am sure you already know; but you can't be ready for one at this age! Take care.

If your girlfriend is on some form of birth control pill that could account for her periods being a bit screwy lately, but you didn't mention it, so I'm assuming no. Take a pregnancy test and hope for the best.

Mine too! It's the first time I write it down so I'm ready for any sudden mood changes....the 14th. 5 days late. She had a dream she had a baby. We're pretty sure it's gonna happen.
Will wait a few days for the pregnancy test.
