What should be done about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and why?
Shouldnt their loud-mouthed racism suffer consequences too?

I wouldn't call them racist. However, they do need to understand that words have consequences. Like Don Imus, sometimes their mouths run faster than their brains.

Well the Liberals dominate the printed media so you will not see anything against Jackson and Sharpton. Unfortunately there are plenty of good black leaders/pastors who do not continue to preach racsim but sadly their voices are not heard.....again.......problem with liberal media. They have a double standard with behavior that is displayed from both parties.

If Sharpton and Jackson were to stop promoting racsim they would be out of work so they must fuel the fire. They are also the darlings of the democratic party! And the Republicans are the Racists?!! Yeh right!

Personally everyone has a right to free speech. I choose not to listen to all three... Imus, Jackson or Sharpton.

1 - Yes.

2 - Ideally, the press would black 'em out (no pun intended) unless there was real news to be reported. Never gonna happen, but one can always hope.

3 - In a perfect world it would. They're both a disgrace and the fact that there aren't responsible African-American voices telling the to just shut up continues to puzzle me. Or, maybe there are such voices but the press chooses not to report their statements.

Yes there is a double standerd and I don't like it.

There is still many obstacles to the blacks as well

So we have a 2 sided problem that both sides will need to work on to resolve.

As for Jesse and Al we should ignore them. We need to stop giving them power by even listenting to their ranting and raving. Ignore them and they will go away.

Yes it should....but It won't. They are part of a "minority". It's okay for the minority to spread hate and oppress the majority. Or at least that's the way the world sees it. After all Mr Cracker and the Hymie's been keepen the black man down fo years!

Sure! Just have to get enough people together and boycott HIS radio station, and carrying signs and shouting slogans, like JJ must go, fire him now. Then threaten the sponsors, such as Afro-sheen, and tell them that your not going to purchase their products any longer. Not that you do now....Just threaten them. They will pull their collective advertisements, and the radio stations will cancel him, fire him and the world will be much better off.
(when I use "him" I'm referring to both or either Jackson and/or Sharpton.)

This happens in South Africa as well.
Even our president ANC boss-man Thabo Mbeki cannot refrain from it.
Basically it is that if anybody criticises the government, they are being racist.
Happens all over Africa as well.
