Okay. Did Sanjaya deserve to be voted off? Question of the day ladies and Gentlemen,
Yes. He did. He should have been gone before the top 24. This season has been Dull. Its now going by popularity instead of singing. People are doing this based upon looks. Sanjaya was a good kid and had a big heart, but he couldn't sing as well as some of the others. He deserved to go it was past due for him. I hear people like him singing everyday, Thats not someone you want as your American Idol winner.
America needs people that can actually sing and not just
another lip singer or one that needs a highly intense voice inhancement job while singing. This season is very dull, and I think that people are getting bored with it, However its what everyone in American chooses and votes for so nobody has the right to complain.

Dude!! Are you serious!! He did horrible last night. In fact, the only time I think he was good was the Am. idol when they had the Latin theme. I was waiting for the night that Sanjaya would be voted off. And now it's finally here!! Whoo hoo!!

You may think Sanjaya is cute, or whatever, but he was not a good enough singer to remain in the competition. That's all there is to it. Except for Phil, who actually has a great voice, the other two guys need to go next!

I don't think he even deserved to make it to that night. He passed the audition with a well-sung song, but should never had made it one episode past that. He was a no-talent hack, and for some reason people must have thought his hair was singing or something, because they just kept voting for him. It also never helped that he was chosen for "Vote for the Worst's" campaign which Howard Stern took on. So that helped him steal a lot of votes and that is the only reason he made it this far. He had everyone who despised the show enough to vote, voting for him and he had his "fans" also. You can also safely assume that since 1\4 of Americans are just moronic that 1\4 of voters are also moronic. 9,000,000 morons judging talent is a lot of votes.

He deserved to be voted off a long time ago. If you think he did great you must be tone deaf or didn't have the volume on. People that can sing deserve a chance not some body that can't sing.

He had the least amount of talent, He only lasted this long because the attention put on him. Like Simon said, he sang Karaoke and I totally agreed. American Idol is a singing contest and not a personality contest.

american idol means serious business..they shouldn't entertain auditioners like sanjaya...i don't mean to sound bias or anything, but there are many more better singers than sanjaya who deserved to be included in the finals...but i still congratulate the guy for reaching the finals...

definite. enable's blame the warfare and Bush and the VT capturing somewhat than blame the skinny singing voice of an indian toddler with somewhat degree presence. enable's blame each thing on him no longer having any expertise ang getting voted off than him. i imagine if human beings placed this a lot power into issues THAT MATTERED, we would nicely be doing such extremely some issues to channge the international.

Then your tone deff.! I think it was cruel for people to keep voting for him to stay on the show, I was so embarrased for him. He could never sell records and to keep him on the show would just be an insult to the ones that really deserve it.

The thing is...America votes. If less people voted for him than anyone else then he deserves to go. It's fair.
