Thank goodness he's gone. He cannot sing. He deprived better singers of progressing in the contest.

I was really going to miss watching that show if he had won. And it has nothing to do with his race, his singing SUCKED. He couldn't carry a note let alone a whole freaking song. He was real good in that first audition and I don't know where it came from or went to, but every song he sang after that, I thought he just destroyed. Simon was the only one who was honest with him all season. Even Paula and Randy, every week except one, could only say "Well I love the hair." Yeah that would be nice if the show were Tyra Banks'. I didn't hear about that booing , but I wish I had seen it. That would have made me laugh greatly. My serious thought on him, I have watched since the first season and have never voted, until this week when I was fed up and wanted him to leave. So I voted for every person that was not a busy signal for the entire hour, it was at least 80 times spread out mostly on Lakeshia And Blake. Just by being there, he sent home far too many people that deserved too go at least one week farther.

I Am So Happy. If Blake Or Lakesha Would Have Went Home, I Wouldn't Have Watched American Idol For The Rest Of This Season.

Yes, American Idol should be cancel as all those programs made for wannabes. Sanjaya was just another wannabe, but with a weird style.

My thought is this: Can we all now, finally, stop the incessant complaining about his run on the show and his lack of singing talent.? The kid has been vilified over and over by fans of the show for weeks now and he did nothing to cause this. Sanjaya was simply doing the best he can and for that, I applaud him.

I my self never liked his singing. Dont get me wrong i dont have anything against the guy. I dont know him personnaly. Yes he should have been voted off a long time ago. For example when Sundance Head got kicked off. Im happy that Kiki and Blake are still there, because they truly deserve it. Sometimes you have bad days, you pick the wrong song...and so on. Im happy that he went home and not them. But i do wish him luck with something else in his life!!

personally I am glad that he is gone from the competition... he as been a cloud of controversy .hanging over the show for some time now...I wish him well and I hope he does not take any of the awful things that we all have said about him to heart... I think he is a sweet kid and could have a career in the entertainment business...perhaps... sitcoms... or advertising... I could see him in a old navy commercial ...or something like that.He did say one thing that I agree with... lets talk about something other than HAIR!

I think he truly believed he had a chance to win. He still gets to do the Summer Tour, though, since he was in the top 10.

Glad to see him finally go. People can stop criticizing him and American Idol.

I was very sad. i think this is as a result of racial difference.
It is not fair at all. It would have been better if it were Phil or Chris that would have left. This is highly impartial.
