Also, if i have 1M solution of sodium thiosulphate and I measure out 2cm3 of the sodium thiosulphate plus 8cm3 of water and mix the two together, how do i calculate the molarity of the 10cm3 solution??any help on my two queries would be great!! thanks

S2O3 (2-) + 5H2O -> 2 SO4(2-) + 8e- + 10H+

NO3- + e- + 2H+ -> NO2 + H2O

So, S2O3(2-) + 8 NO3(-) + 6H+ -> 3H2O + 2 SO4(2-) + 8NO2

1*2/(10) = .2 M
