Usually that means that there is a cop up ahead that is trying to catch speeders. Not that you were going fast, necessarily, but the other driver was trying to tell you that there was a cop. It is an unwritten rule between drivers to warn other drivers. Turning lights on and off, or flashing high beams are the two ways they do it. They were not a Jackazz

Usually if you havent got your headlights on high then its a courtesy warning by a fellow driver that there is cops up ahead somwhere or in the area, slow down! OR perhaps your headlights arent adjusted right and they are pointing too high and it looks like they are on high beam because they are pointing into oncoming car drivers eyes!

Maybe the person knew you or maybe your brights were on and you didn't know it. My malibus lights go on by themselves!! I flash people if I think there brights are on too because it kills my eyes and sometimes it hinders my ability to drive.I don't do it to be mean. Plus why werent't your lights on they are suppose to be on a dusk??It shouldn't even have bothered you if it wasn't dark yet??

They were probally trying to tell you that your headlights were off, and that you needed to turn them on.
Either way, I agree with her ^. You should have thrown a hammer through the windsheild. LOL

sometimes it is an indication that the police are sitting on the road in your direction. not always the headlight thing.

They were letting you know that your lights were not on, not that your brights were on. You need to turn on your lights when you are out and it is dark or if you are using you windshield wipers (meaning it is raining or snowing).

You said it was night, and you didn't have your lights on. Perhaps that was the message in the flash of the lights, not to turn yours down, but to turn them on!!!!!!!!

you could have had your brights on. when the light stick is forward and my lights are off my brights are on. You also could have been driving bad.

They were probably flashing their lights to tell you to turn yours on.
