This is a common misunderstanding. It's not about "the kind of person" we are. It's about how we look, i.e. pretty, ugly, fat, skinny, good hair, combover, well-dressed, shabby, etc etc... and then people make invalid judgments based on their first blush reaction to cosmetics. It's "the way I look", NOT "the kind of person I am." And that's pretty well universal.

Not creepy, but some have said I appear a bit stand-offish and stern (typical school teacher someone once said! LOL!) at first glance but when I start talking that impression soon fades away.
