There is a parasite (not a virus) called Toxoplasma gondii that humans often "catch" from cats (well, cat faeces anyway)...

A recent Australian study has suggested a connection between Toxoplasma infection and altered sexual behaviour humans. But I wouldn't recommend putting cat poo in your lady's coffee... She is unlikely to get "nice".

I have never heard of it but it would account for the behaviour of a couple of recent lady acquaintances who both have dogs and really need cats.

PS It is apparently a parasite, not a virus.

Toxoplasmosis is caused by a single celled organism. It can cause cysts in the brain, which I don't suppose would make anyone nicer.
