Some Like It Hot - a fantastic film! Very funny and a classic - I can watch again and again.

Sweet Smell of Success. A great movie by Alexander Mackendrick. And unsurpassable Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis' performances

The Black Shield of Falworth. It's a great early Tony, co-starring Janet Leigh. He doesn't actually say it but the funny line using his NY accent is "Yonda is the castle of my fadder".

love Some like it Hot. Also like Houdini; he was fantastic in that. And The Defiant Ones, wow! How about Taras Bulba? With Yul Bryner......great stuff. Boston Strangler was terrific too. He was a voice in Rosemary's Baby; not everybody remembers that one. And he was in Lobsterman from Mars too!! and The Manitou; a really strange movie about a tumor that is really an ancient native american warrior and it is growing out of a woman's back. The Black Shield of Farnsworth (yonder is the castle of my fodder) was good too. So many great movies. And lots of those silly sort of sex comedies without any real sex in them. They were really popular a long time ago.
He is also an accomplished artist; mostly landscape/flower kind of work. Lots of bright colors in his art.

For me Tony Curtis is one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood.His performances as Harry Houdini in "Houdini" was exceptional.But his best performance was as Albert de Salvo,"The Boston Strangler.".He was chilling and very convincing indeed.

he's one of those actors i can always count on to have a solid performance. Tho he can do drama, his comedic talents are the most memorable to me.
my favorites of his: Boeing, Boeing; The Manitou; Goodbye Charlie; Sex and the Single Girl; and Some Like It Hot.
because of his charisma and personality, i could usually count on him to be in a sex romp, usually paired with one of the fantastically beautiful and clever actresses of the day.
his artistic timing and rapport were exhibited in the films above where he paired with the beautiful Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Debbie Reynolds, Susan Strasberg and Jerry Lewis (JERRY LEWIS?!?!?).
