Is a good music beat just as important to you as the lyrics & the singer/rapper? It's like that with me.

i listen to the beat..and try to mix it up..and break up the beat..then me and my sister make dances to it..its pretty cool...i dnt really listen to the lyrics..i dnt really care about singer or rapper..i pretty much just listen to the beat..but somehow i ussually know the lyrics anyways..like...after listening to it for a while i know the lyrics by heart..its weird..

A good song must have good lyrics and music.
For me,i find those two very important as sometimes i fall in love with songs because of that.

I have music for different moods i may want to chill so go for deep clever lyrics then i may want to go mental so i play hard house which often has no lyrics. i am an amazing lyric writer and hence find hip hop a bit childish but i like anything from rock to dance, obviously as an adult pop seems a bit moronic for my taste

Yes i prefer a definite tune with good lyrics you can hear by a competent artist
