I think that you mean the difference between undefined and indeterminate.
Undefined is something where there is simply no answer such as trying to divide by zero or taking the log of a negative.
Undetermined is when there appears to be more than one justifiable answer. 0 divided by 0 is an example. There is a good reason why this should be 0, because 0 divided by anything is 0. However, there is a good reason why it should be 1 as well, because anything divided by the same thing is 1. So we say that we can't decide and it is indeterminate.

Zero divided into a whole number is undefined because something cannot be divided into zero parts. I don' know what undeterminent is.

Indeterminate

0/0 = 0

0 / 0 = 1
