Is the bowl plastic or glass? I know that if you get it on carpet you can put a paper bag or paper towel over it and iron it, it comes off on the paper bag or towel, that would be hard to do in a bowel. Maybe you could heat it a bit in the microwave for a few seconds at a time and use a paper towel to get it when it is soft, if the bowel is microwavable.

I had the same problem. Not many people are aware that wax is a meat eater. If you put the bowl next to a piece of steak the wax will make its way over to it and start eating it. Quickly whisk the bowl away so it can't get back in. Next issue is the wax could then attach itself to another object in your house. Best thing to do is hit with something big like a rolling pin. It may seem cruel but its for the best. Good luck

Can you warm the bowl - perhaps in the microwave or by placing it in a sink of hot water? Hopefully that will loosen the wax enough for you to be able to get it out...

Yes, just put the bowl in the freezer and in a few hours you will be able to easily pry it out in one piece.

Only if its not plastic, warm the bowl up and pour out, or scrape.
