I mean this happens multiple times in Iraq daily . People shopping or waiting for a chance to work getting slaughtered . I havent heard anything on these boards about those innocents dying . But I hear plenty about some college kids in the USA . Maybe if we felt the same about the people in Iraq as we do here , we would actually pursue a solution there . ( I'm not saying we shouldnt mourn yesterdays events , I'm saying there is a hypocricy at work here).

Yes, and the US barely acknowledges the loss of lives of its soldiers - over 30 young people of college age died last week, all in the service of their country.

If more is told daily about the iraqi deaths, there would be more mass suicides. As far as our troops, we try to be quiet for their families . I wouldnt want a son of mine shown all over the media, especially coming home in a casket. Liberals are mad about these things.Oh well, they can just parade their kids. Oops, I forgot they dont believe in war, they want peace. We need to let them go shake hands with Osama, and the rest of the nice suicide bombers. Im sure they wont get their heads lopped off, right? Very good question Sir. TY much!

Yes, well, I heard this discussion on the news last night also. There were so many reasons, I couldn't list them all here. Not that I agree with them, or believe they're valid. I don't know that it's actually hypocrisy - I think it's more about what the news media can 'sell.'

Liberals care nothing about any of the dead. They care only how they can use the event to further their agenda.

Suicide bombers in Iraq are a tool to attack Bush. A very troubled young man in Virginia and students and teachers dead are tools to promote gun control.

Hellooo? Where have you been? It's on the news each and every day. We can't help but see and notice it.

I'm curious what your solution to end the violence in Iraq would be. And if it is to pull out, I would suggest you so a little reading on what happened in Vietnam and Cambodia after we pulled out...

There is a war zone over there, not here

Millions have perished in African genocide (Darfur, Somolia, etc) yet not much attention to that either

Suiside is a common practice for those people. They beleive in a god that teaches his children to die and become a martyr in the process. This is not the way of this country or its people.

It was Iraqi killing Iraqis. This does not concern most regular Americans.
