Isn't abortion legal in the US??
That's a crime also (not abortion itself, the fact that a woman doesn't have a choice), as are the gun laws in the US.
I know i don't live there so i'll probably get slammed for answering this, but i cannot believe that anyone can just go and buy a gun - past felons etc excused, but that is outrageous.
I'm glad that in my country, i don't have to choose between these things - we have legalised abortion and strict gun control.
