from what i remember...we immigrated to germany from romania when i was around 5 years old. We weren`t rich or anything, but always managed to go places like visit Castles or go to the zoo. My dad would always carry my on his shoulders. I remember doing lots of family things, we never had many toys, but that didn`t matter because we were together.

The day my son was born.....no drugs or anything. His head, his shoulders and his arms and body, then legs, he was the best ever to this date and that was in 1990 there is nothing in this world that can compare to that ( the pain didn't even bother me) just knowing that I was going to be holding him soon was good enough for me. I will never forget that feeling of him being born and alot of women do, I am very grateful that I can remember this......thank you for reminding us of the fondest memories we have.

one summer my sister and i stayed with my grandparents, and my grandpa would take us to the park every single day. we would wake up, have breakfast and aroud 11 we were in the park. we were at the slides until we got bored, then we'd climb some stairs and find grandpa at this open air sort of bar, where he would be drinking a beer. he'd buy us juice and an icecream , we'd talk a while and then we'd go home. grandma would make french fries with fried eggs and pickles (yum) and in the afternoon we'd watch tv with grandpa, climb the trees in the garden or skim through his huge books about animals and plants. i remember it all so well and i really miss those times, when everything was perfect. grandpa is gone now but i can still hear him laugh.
my childhood smells like green apples from that garden
how about you?

my fondest memory happened in a dream, i was on a dock at some lake, with a girl wearing a yellow bikini, i was rubbing her belly because she was a little shy and then we kissed, it felt real, that's why i remember it i guess

Walking through fields of wild flowers in Washington state with my husband without a care in the world. I can't wait to get back there! It was like one of those scenes on TV where there's two people running towards each other all cheesy, but in real life!

When I was a very small child my great grandmother would read me Golden Books. My favorite was The Three Billy Goats Gruff. I still have it memorized. I don't have the book any longer but I recited it to my daughter when she was young and now to my grandkids.

Hi Sweetheart. Well, mine would be traveling with my family, (2 older sisters and parents), when I was younger. We used to travel all over the United States and Canada in our motor home. It was GREAT for "family bonding" and just really created LOTS of happy childhood memories for us! I've been to a lot of beautiful and interesting places! ~"G.S.O".~
