I'm in Australia. The Cooktown orchid is the state flower of Queensland. The last state I lived in had the Kangaroo Paw as its state flower (Western Australia)

The flower of my state is the NSW Waratah. It's the flower of New South Wales, Australia. This flower only grows in New South Wales, it's also called as Telopea Speciosissima.

Hi Susan, My is the beautiful orange POPPY for the State of California. You don't want to pick them,they are protected by the State of California and for just 1 POPPY it will cost you $500.00 boy can you imagine picking a dozen and getting caught.. No Thank You.. LOL LOL..
