Not if we are smart – and I don’t say that because I don’t think we could make a parking lot of the place. If we are smart, we will just wait the current regime out. They are failing internally and in 3 to 5 years will be overthrown by the intellectuals in the nation. I agree with the referenced article wholeheartedly.

USA might invade Iran for its irresponsible nuclear arms build-up just like Iraq.

We are in the geographical position to(occupying iraq to to the south and afganistan to the east), but there will never be enough popular support to justify an invasion. not after we were tricked into invading iraq.

Invade Iran?.....with what?
That would be an even bigger mistake than going into Iraq. I doubt that even America could elect a second person dumb enough to try another invasion of anybody.

Not necessary
We only have to use an air bombing campaign to destroy their facilities. No ground invasion is necessary.
