Both of them are important. But i think salt is the most important one. Because we use salt in cooking. We use sugar also, but not most of the time.

Salt is more important for your body than sugar is. Especially the refined white sugar. We actually consume too much sugar in the American diet.
(But dont dump pounds of salt on your food! )
Salt in small amounts is beneficial. When dissolved in water they are electrolytes and are found in blood, urine and the watery part of our cells.

I need salt more. Sugar is Equal for me now and diet sodas for years. Real sugar tastes too sweet. I think I'm cheating myself, don't you? We should all have a God-given right to pure white unrefined sugar!!

salt because it has more first aid uses, it can also be used to preserve meat and it tastes good in small amounts, sugar just tastes good

salt... because without it the ocean would be fresh water and if the ocean was fresh water then all the salt water animals would die.
But sugar tastes better!
