I have to agree with you. While it is tragic, it happens everyday. But to be fair, americans arent really killing innocent iraqis any more, its mostly the suicide bombers... while the americans are there in a war , we have to remember that there also a holy war going on and soon to be a civil war so they are killin there own ppl at an alarming rate.
As far as americans dieng in iraq its not even really close to 32 a day.. or even a weak. Besides i think everyone in america morns the death of every fallen soldier out of respect for what they are doing. So i guess what i am trying to say is that ppl are sad about that too. Its a very somber time to be an american.

Sad? Yes it's a sad thing but I'm not crying over it. The only people who have the right to be sad and to morn are the victims family's. Yes I am saddned by their loss I don't know how anyone wouldn't be sad about this. but we as americans need to be strong and support the family's of the victims. Cause they are the ones hurting the most right now. And the same thing goes with the people in Iraq who died its about those family members and its not about us because we can't imagne the pain they have right now.

32 people is nothing compared to what goes on in Iraq. When doing the math of at least 140000 people having died in Iraq, we would have to have 4375 days of VA-Techs until we would have caught up. 4375 days are 11 years, 11 months and 28 days of having 32 bodies daily; no vacations, no holidays, no weekends. EVERY DAY!

Can anyone picture a slaughter like VA-Tech for that duration of time? If so, then you can imagine what it is like to be in Iraq.

It hits close to home. I lived two hours from the school and many of my friends knew people from Virginia Tech, including the victims. Death is harder to stomach when it affects the people whom you love. I think this is true for everyone. Do you think that people in Iraq are more concerned over the shootings at VT than the suicide bombers in Baghdad? I assume it goes both ways.

Death is a tragedy in all cases.

We are not all sad. That is the spin the media puts on it. That is the spin the Bush Administration puts on it. That is the definition of manipulative. I encourage you to educate yourself, stay current, and not view/read propaganda. A big offender of this is none other than Fox News.

You won't get a argument from me. You can't argue with good logic.
