Have an '02 Dyna with aftermarket wheels and rotors. Have had 3 new rotors on the front wheel. Manufacturer has been real good about standing behind its product. sited a chrome process inperfection causing a high point on the hub. About a year later the warping shows up again. Another new rotor. And now both front and back rotors are warped. I figure it time to get a refund. But I am in need of a solution or a helpful answer. Could there be a flaw in the hubs again? Or??

The major issue is the hub itself and that will have to be addressed. Even imperfections if a thousandth of an inch can cause eventual failure. The quickest solution is to get new wheels from somewhere else. If you like what you have you may need to get someone to machine the wheel hub at the mounting points to make sure they are even. This will require a specialist so look around and ask who may have experience in doing this. Also see if you can find compatible (i.e. mounting and alignment fit BOTH the hub AND the normal position if the callipers) rotors from a stock machine, preferably something with a floating disk arrangement that allow for temperature stresses to be absorbed. Also check, if you still have the stock callipers that the aftermarket rotors sit in EXACTLY the same position and diameters as the stock items if they do not this could be causing issues as well. All the best and I hope that you get it sorted.

Ive had problems with rotors warping also....try to buy the canadian rotors also a big part of the warping is due to the brake Pad that you are using.....Dont ever get the lifetime guaranteed ones...they generate more heat...dont go with a crap pad either get something in the middle...something softer than what you are using....a softer pad means that the pad wears more instead of the rotor which causes less heat

We've got Renegade (south beach) wheels and rotors on the old ladys bike and the rotors were warped when we got them.
They have replaced them and we're in good shape now.

in my opinion its time to get a refund and go with a different manufacture of wheel and rotor. and yes use a midrange pad as the "lifetime" pads tend to be too hard and instead of the pad getting used up it eats the rotor.

Usually, warping is caused by excessive heat.
Floating rotors are more resistant to this.
You might try the floating rotors next time.
